The British developer will invest €89.4 million to build two developments of 84 apartments each, completing the resort's urban plan.
Taylor Wimpey España has finalised the purchase of the last residential plot available in the Mirador de Estepona Hills complex, located in the upper area of Estepona. The operation, valued at €89.4 million, will allow for the construction of 168 homes and complete the urban development of the resort, situated at the foot of Sierra Bermeja with views of the sea and mountains.
Two developments with Mediterranean village design
The project includes two independent developments of 84 homes each, designed with inspiration from the Mediterranean Village concept. The houses will feature spacious terraces, open-plan layouts, parking spaces, and storage rooms. Construction is set to begin in the first quarter of 2027 and will be carried out in four phases.
In addition to the homes, communal areas will be expanded with two beach-style swimming pools, landscaped areas, a pool bar, and a space for commercial and community uses. These will complement the existing services: swimming pools, a restaurant, a gym, and a paddle club.
An investment that strengthens the commitment to Estepona
Ignacio Oslé, regional director of Taylor Wimpey España on the Costa del Sol, highlighted that this operation strengthens the company's presence in Estepona and adds value to the current properties in the resort. The developer, with over 60 years of experience in Spain, will apply sustainability criteria: low carbon footprint materials, energy efficiency, and water-saving systems.
For the residents of Estepona, this development represents a boost to the local residential market, with new homes completing a consolidated resort. According to the company, the completion of the master plan for the complex ensures harmonious integration with the natural environment of Sierra Bermeja.
Construction will begin in 2027, meaning the homes will not be available until at least 2029. Interested parties can check the project details on the Taylor Wimpey España website.
