The San Rafael neighbourhood in Ronda hosts its traditional Fair from Thursday, July 30, to Sunday, August 2, with attractions, music, and activities for all ages.
The San Rafael neighbourhood in Ronda is preparing to experience its traditional Fair, which will take place from Thursday, July 30, to Sunday, August 2. The event was presented this Tuesday by the Councillor for Citizen Participation, Cristina Durán, along with the Joaquín Peinado Neighbourhood Association, represented by its president, José María Viruel, and its secretary, Verónica Vargas.
During the presentation, they all encouraged residents and visitors to come to the San Rafael Park during those days, which will be the main venue for the fair. The programme includes fair attractions, musical performances, contests, and children's activities.
The fair will kick off on Thursday at 6:00 PM with the opening of the fair attractions. The official inauguration will take place at 8:00 PM, and at 10:00 PM, Dj Montes will perform until midnight.
On Friday, the attractions will also open at 6:00 PM. At 7:00 PM, a demonstration by the Local Police of Ronda and the Provincial Firefighters Consortium (CPB) of Málaga is scheduled. In the evening, at 10:00 PM, there will be musical entertainment, and at 11:00 PM, Dj Gallo will liven up the night until 2:00 AM.
On Saturday, the attractions will be open from 6:00 PM. At 8:00 PM, prizes will be awarded, and at 9:00 PM, musical entertainment will begin. At 10:00 PM, the Virtual Orchestra will perform, and the Fair Queen and the Children's Queen will be chosen. The closing will be at 2:00 AM.
On Sunday, the final day, it will start at 12:00 PM with the Foam Party. At 2:00 PM, a popular paella will be served. In the afternoon, the attractions will open at 6:00 PM, and at 7:00 PM, there will be children's entertainment by Andén Mágico. At 9:00 PM, Dj Gallo will provide the final touch until midnight.
Councillor Cristina Durán highlighted the involvement of the neighbourhood association and encouraged all residents of Ronda to enjoy these festivities, which serve as a meeting point for the neighbourhood and the rest of the city. For his part, José María Viruel thanked the collaboration of the City Council and reminded everyone that the fair is a deeply rooted tradition in San Rafael.
The San Rafael Fair thus consolidates itself as a summer event in Ronda, with a programme that combines leisure, culture, and citizen participation. Attendees will be able to enjoy activities for all ages in a festive and family-friendly atmosphere.
