The expected spending per person has decreased compared to 2025 and matches that of 2024. The bus is the preferred means of transport to the festivities.

Attendees at the Málaga Fair 2026 will spend an average of €76.63 per person, according to a survey conducted among consumers. This figure represents a decrease from the €89 expected the previous year and aligns with the €76 from 2024.

Public transport remains the great ally of the party. 55.8% of respondents plan to travel by bus to the Real Cortijo de Torres or the city centre, while 16.3% will go by car and 14% will opt for a taxi. The rest will walk, favoured by the proximity of their homes to the fairgrounds.

Attendance will be spread over the festive days: 32.6% will attend for just one day, 44.2% for two to three days, and 23.3% plan to attend four or more days, both at the daytime Fair in the centre and at the Real Cortijo de Torres. 9.3% say they will not go at all and 16.3% will take the opportunity to travel outside the city.

Spending will mainly focus on food and drink, followed by children's attractions and transport. The preference for the Real Cortijo de Torres is clear, both during the day and at night, while dissatisfaction with the daytime Fair in the centre is growing, although the overall rating remains positive.

Prices continue to rise year after year, generating discontent among attendees. Despite this, security and healthcare remain among the best-rated services. The fair also provides a significant economic boost and generates employment in sectors such as catering, marketing, photography, and technical services.

To enjoy the festivities without setbacks, experts recommend controlling the budget, respecting safety regulations, and consuming responsibly.

The Málaga Fair will take place from August 14 to 23, with the Real Cortijo de Torres as the main venue and the daytime Fair in the centre as an alternative.
