The town of Málaga will host until July 31 the extension of the deadline for submitting applications in the second call of the training actions programme for the Andalusian aerospace sector.
This programme is backed by an investment of 2.1 million euros and aims to train 795 unemployed individuals in the provinces of Cádiz, Málaga, and Sevilla.
Details of the call
The call was published on July 10 and offers grants on a competitive basis. The initiative seeks to meet the personnel needs in the aerospace sector, addressing unemployed individuals from the mentioned provinces.
The budget for the call has increased by 29% compared to the previous year. Participants will have access to specialised training that responds to the real needs of companies and will allow them to obtain official accreditations.
Training and beneficiary entities
The training offer includes two lines of action aimed at unemployed individuals. The first line is in-person and covers specialties that do not require professional certificates. The second line is also in-person and offers vocational training at Level C.
Private training centres, both for-profit and non-profit, will be able to apply for these grants, with the possibility of requesting up to 100% of the cost of the training activity.
This programme is the result of social dialogue between the Employment Department and important aerospace associations and companies in Andalusia. The initiative will be executed in three calls, with a total investment reaching 8 million euros, aimed at improving the employability of up to 2,610 workers in the sector.
