The Marbella City Council has renewed its annual agreement with the Crece association, endowed with over 47,000 euros, to maintain its support programs for people with functional diversity.
The Marbella City Council has once again shown its support for the Crece association by signing a new annual agreement. The agreement, amounting to over 47,000 euros, will allow the entity to continue developing its comprehensive care programs, promoting personal autonomy and social inclusion for people with functional diversity.
The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, was the one who signed the agreement alongside the Councillor for Social Rights, Isabel Cintado. During the event, Muñoz highlighted the “commendable” work that the association has been doing for over two decades and emphasized that municipal support is essential for the entity to continue its work.
“In this way, we will continue to support the work that the association provides, fostering the development of its users' abilities,” said the mayor. She also congratulated the president of the collective, Ana María Villalobos, and the entire team of professionals for Crece's trajectory.
For her part, Isabel Cintado wanted to highlight the work that the association does. “Everyone who has had the opportunity to know Crece can see the wonderful work it carries out, always with closeness, professionalism, and adapting to the needs of each user, as well as the important support it provides to families,” said the councillor.
Cintado reiterated the Council's recognition of Crece's work and conveyed municipal support for the various programs it promotes. “We want to thank the extraordinary work that the Crece association does with initiatives that improve the quality of life for people with functional diversity,” she emphasized.
The president of the association, Ana María Villalobos, thanked the City Council for the continuity of this agreement, which she described as “a relief” for the entity. “The help received allows us to continue carrying out new projects and providing quality care to those who need it most,” she stressed.
The funding will contribute to the maintenance of the association, which serves nearly fifty users and their families. Thanks to this agreement, Crece will be able to continue developing two of its main programs: the morning classroom for those over 16 years old and the psychological care service.
