The coastal municipality begins the countdown to its main week this Friday with the presentation of the official poster at the Parque de España and a concert by Raya Real in the Plaza de España.

Fuengirola kicks off the countdown to its 2026 Feria and Fiestas del Rosario this Friday, September 11, with the unveiling of the promotional poster, created by the Sevillian artist Juan Miguel Martín. The event will take place at 21:00 hours in the Cristóbal Blanca del Moral auditorium at the Parque de España.

After the unveiling of the artwork, the celebration will move to the Plaza de España, where Raya Real, a group known for its sevillanas and flamenco rumbas, will perform. The evening aims to combine tradition, music, and solidarity, as the square will feature a bar managed by the local association El Faro de la Escucha, with proceeds going to this entity.

The Councillor for Fiestas, Isabel Moreno, explained that “the presentation of the poster is one of the moments that marks the start of the countdown to our Feria and Fiestas del Rosario each year.” Regarding Juan Miguel Martín's work, she highlighted that “he has managed to capture the identity and spirit of our fair in his creation.”

“We want this first major pre-fair event to combine our traditions, music, community, and also solidarity,” Moreno stated.

The Feria del Rosario, one of the most established events in the Fuengirola calendar, will bring together thousands of locals and visitors. With this event, the Town Hall invites all citizens to participate in the first pre-fair gathering.
