The Fuengirola City Council creates a new 'Families' group in the Municipal Workshop of Pottery, Sculpture and Wheel, with two monthly sessions on Fridays and a maximum of 10 families per classroom. The registration period starts on September 15 and classes begin on October 15.
The Culture Area of the Fuengirola City Council has expanded the Municipal Workshop of Pottery, Sculpture and Wheel with the creation of a new group aimed at families, where adults and children from 6 years old can participate together. This was detailed by the Councillor for Culture, Rodrigo Romero, and the workshop teacher, Margarita Olmo Valle.
The new 'Families' Group will take place on Fridays, from 17:00 to 19:00 hours, with two monthly sessions. Families will engage in activities such as modelling, pottery, and small sculptures, as well as shared creative projects.
The creation of this group responds to the sustained increase in demand during the current term and the existence of waiting lists that prevent all requests from being accommodated, according to the City Council.
The classroom will admit a maximum of 10 families, in accordance with the capacity of the municipal space, and is designed for the joint participation of one adult and one or more children.
The workshop is taught by Margarita Olmo Valle, a Higher Technician in Plastic Arts and Design in Artistic Ceramics from the San Telmo School of Arts in Málaga.
Registrations can be made through the website taller.ceramica.mov-art.es and the period will start from September 15. Classes will begin from October 15.
