The coastal town of Estepona has been the scene of a violent incident in the middle of the summer season. A 31-year-old man sustained several bullet wounds to the legs in a shooting that took place minutes before 5:30 PM on Tuesday near the well-known Sonora Beach bar, located right on the beach.
Several eyewitnesses alerted the Emergency Services 112 Andalucía after hearing the gunshots and seeing the victim collapse on the ground, bleeding profusely. Local Police, National Police, and medical services were immediately dispatched to the scene.
