The eleventh edition of the charity gala 'Noche Blanca' will be held on July 25 at the Mirador del Carmen. The Estepona City Council collaborates with the APRONA Foundation to raise funds for a residence and independent living flats.
On July 25, the area around the Mirador del Carmen in Estepona will host the eleventh edition of the charity gala ‘Noche Blanca’, organised by the APRONA Foundation. The event, which has the collaboration of the Estepona City Council, aims to raise funds for a residential project for severely affected individuals and several independent living flats that the organisation is developing in the area.
The official presentation of the charity event took place today with the participation of the Councillor for Citizen Participation and Social Services, María Aguilar; the trustee of the APRONA Foundation, Carlos Barrientos; and social worker Laura Benítez. During the event, Aguilar highlighted the importance of citizen participation and emphasised that the attendance and collaboration of residents and visitors are essential to realise a social resource of great relevance for Estepona and its surroundings.
The gala will begin at 20:30 and will offer a wide programme of performances and activities designed for enjoyment with family or friends. Among the scheduled performances are Compás Flamenco and Sótano Sur, along with entertainment from a DJ. There will also be face painting for the little ones and, as in previous editions, attendees are invited to wear white clothing, following the event's dress code.
The organisation will have a bar where food and drinks will be available at popular prices, as well as small themed bars for ham, cheeses, mojitos, or wines. APRONA warns that payment will only be accepted in cash. The funds raised will be entirely allocated to the project for the residence and supervised flats, a resource aimed at improving the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families.
Thanks to the funds raised in the previous ten editions, the foundation has been able to undertake the necessary preliminary work for the execution of the project, such as land studies, plan preparation, permits, licenses, bonds, and construction taxes. The new residence will be a specialised centre for severely affected individuals with disabilities, while the independent living flats will offer a more autonomous environment for those who can manage with less support.
Tickets for the gala are already on sale at a symbolic price of 7 euros in advance and 8 euros at the box office on the day of the event. They can be purchased at the headquarters of the APRONA Foundation, on José Luis Díez street; at any of the car parks managed by the entity; and at the APRONA shop, located at number 8 Santa Ana street. The Estepona City Council encourages citizens to participate in this charity event and contribute to a project that will improve the quality of life for many people and their families.
The ‘Noche Blanca’ has established itself as one of the most anticipated charity events of the summer in Estepona, combining leisure and social commitment. This year's edition promises an evening full of music, white colour, and solidarity, with the aim of continuing to gather support to realise the residence and independent living flats that APRONA is promoting in the locality.
