Estepona is finalising the details for its major summer event: the 2026 Fair and Major Festivities, which will be held from July 7 to 12. The Málaga town has prepared a programme packed with traditions, live music, and activities for all audiences, with most events being free. The concerts by Nuria Fergó and Paco Candela are set to be the highlights of the festive week.

Opening Ceremony and Lighting: Official Start

The kickoff will be given by journalist Antonio Jiménez, who will deliver the opening speech on Tuesday, July 7 at 21:00 in the extension of Juan Carlos I Avenue, next to the Athletics Stadium. Before that, at 20:00, a parade of giants and big-heads will liven up the atmosphere from the Víctor de Serna School, accompanied by the Charanga 404. After the opening speech, Estepona singer Rocío Bazán will perform.

At 22:30, the lighting of the fairground will take place, with the Estepona Municipal Band in the background, followed by the traditional fireworks display. For those sensitive to noise, Civil Protection will set up a point for collecting ear protection at the entrance of the venue.

Featured Concerts: From Nuria Fergó to Paco Candela

On Thursday, July 9, at 20:00, singer Nuria Fergó will perform at the municipal tent, in what promises to be one of the most anticipated moments of the fair. On the same day, at 23:00, Joana Jiménez will take the stage. On Saturday the 11th, it will be Paco Candela's turn, who will give a concert at 00:00, preceded by the Roma Orchestra at 22:00.

The rest of the week also includes performances by Diego Martín (Wednesday 8 at 00:00), Los Yakis (Friday 10 at 00:00), and Kiko Peña (Friday 10 at 15:00), among others. All concerts are free and take place at the municipal tent of the fairground.

Activities for Everyone: Fried Egg Day, Paella, and Horse Parade

The fair is not just about music. On Wednesday 8 at 15:00, the Fried Egg Day will be celebrated, with a free tapa when purchasing a drink at the municipal tent. On Sunday 12, at the same time, it will be the Paella Day, also with free tasting. For the little ones, on Wednesday 8 at 19:00 there will be a children's party with entertainment and magic, and the attractions will have special prices.

Horse lovers can enjoy the Horse Parade, open from Friday to Sunday from 12:00 to 20:00, and the IX Andalusian Harnessing Contest on Sunday at 13:00. Additionally, on Sunday at 20:00, there will be a Grand Bullfight.

The fair concludes on Sunday 12 with performances by the Solo Flamenco Academy of Ana Guerrero (16:00), El Taller del Arte (17:00), and the municipal Dance School (19:00). For locals and visitors, it is a unique opportunity to enjoy Estepona's culture and tradition without leaving the coast. This year, the children's offerings have been enhanced, and the horse parade hours have been extended. In short, a week to mark in red on the calendar.
