Benalmádena is preparing to celebrate International Youth Day with an afternoon of water activities, music, and games at Parque Innova. The event, organised by the Youth Delegation, will take place on Wednesday, August 12 from 5 PM to 9 PM, with free access open to all ages.
The space will transform into a small water park with a 'Water Battle Royale Zone' that includes 90 water guns, obstacles, a water slide, foam cannon, and skill games, all set to musical ambiance. The proposal aims to promote coexistence and teamwork among attendees.
Additionally, there will be a Viking expedition with a clan forging workshop, kubb tournament, and axe throwing, along with an archery zone and other skill activities. The Councillor for Youth, Lucía Camero, has encouraged young people and families to participate in “an afternoon different to enjoy, share, and celebrate together all that our youth represents.”
Camero highlighted that the programme combines “water, music, creativity, sport, and games to ensure there are options for all tastes.” From the delegation, the goal is to “continue generating meeting spaces and leisure alternatives that allow our young people to enjoy Benalmádena and feel like protagonists of the activities we organise for them.”
The event is free and does not require prior registration. Interested individuals can go directly to Parque Innova during the scheduled hours.
