The Fair's venue now shines with its two million sustainable light points and its 117 booths for the 2026 edition, which will take place from August 15 to 22 with nearly 200 free performances and an AI-powered virtual assistant.
The Real Cortijo de Torres is all set for a new edition of the Málaga Fair, which kicks off on August 15 and will run until the 22nd. Workers have finished installing the over two million light points using sustainable technology that will illuminate the venue with decorative motifs, and the 117 booths, in addition to the municipal ones, are ready to welcome thousands of visitors.
This year's programme includes nearly 200 free performances spread across the Municipal Auditorium, the Municipal Flamenco and Copla Booth, and the children's booth. Notable names include Antonio Carmona, Diana Navarro, Medina Azahara, and Las Nancys Rubias, who will share the stage with Málaga artists such as Encarni Navarro, Tabletom, and Hoffman.
The Youth Esplanade will once again be the meeting point for the younger audience, with sessions running from 22:00 to 03:00. The programme will kick off with 'Los 40 Urban Session Málaga', featuring Ramsés López, David Álvarez, and Sánchez Jr., and will continue with DJs like Manuel Pallarés, Jesús Fernández, and Javi Torres. The final day, Saturday, will be closed by Málaga DJs and Alpha Sky, last year's contest winner.
Meanwhile, the Youth Department of the Málaga City Council has launched the prevention service 'Hazlo bien' to promote healthy nightlife. An information tent will be set up, staffed by specialised technicians who will provide advice on drug and alcohol prevention, sexual protection, as well as the effects of vaping and energy drinks.
One of the major innovations of this edition is the return of the virtual assistant 'TuFerIA', powered by Internalia Group and the city council. This service, available via WhatsApp at the number 622 25 60 08, offers real-time information on the location of booths, attractions, toilets, and public services, as well as directions for getting there by bus or taxi. As a new feature, it includes real-time data on parking occupancy.
The fair, held in honour of the city's patron saint, the Virgen de la Victoria, officially kicks off on Saturday, August 15 with the traditional lighting of the venue. Access to the site will be operational from early afternoon, and a high turnout is expected from both locals and tourists taking advantage of the summer dates.
