The Ronda City Council has presented a programme with free activities on Saturday, September 26, and the Tourism Gala on Tuesday, September 29, which will recognise professionals in the sector.
The Councillor for Tourism, Ángel Martínez, presented this Friday the programme organised by the Ronda City Council to commemorate World Tourism Day, which is celebrated on September 27. The activities will take place between Saturday, September 26, and Tuesday, September 29.
The highlight will be on Saturday, September 26, with a day of free activities organised by Ronda Tourism in collaboration with active tourism companies Sierra Aventura and Pangea. From 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00, visitors can enjoy a zip line from the Aldehuela Viewpoint to the Cuenca Gardens, a Tibetan bridge at the New Bridge, children's climbing at the Carmen Walls, archery, and an eco-car for children and young people up to 16 years old in the same area.
The day will also include a night via ferrata with 15 free spots that will require prior registration on the website sierraventuraronda.com. Additionally, activities sold from the Tourist Office and Ronda Tourism will have a 15% discount that day, a measure aimed at both residents and visitors.
The councillor has encouraged citizens to participate and emphasised that the programme allows for the discovery of Ronda's natural wealth, from the Tajo environment and its gorge to the active tourism proposals. Martínez highlighted the collaboration of local companies to bring these resources closer to the people of Ronda and those visiting the city.

The Tourism Gala will be held on Tuesday, September 29 at 20:00, where the work of individuals or entities linked to the sector will be recognised. The awards will be announced once approved by the Board of Directors of Ronda Tourism.
The free activities on Saturday, September 26, will take place in locations such as the Aldehuela Viewpoint, the Cuenca Gardens, the New Bridge, and the Carmen Walls. Registration for the night via ferrata is already open on the indicated website.
