The company Tauroemoción has announced special promotions for those under 15 and 25 years old at the bullfighting events of the 150th Anniversary Fair of La Malagueta, with discounts of 50% and tickets starting from 1 euro.
The bullring of La Malagueta is preparing for its 150th Anniversary Fair with a series of discounts aimed at the younger audience. Tauroemoción, the managing company, has launched promotions that will allow those under 15 and 25 years old to access the festivities with discounts of up to 50% and symbolic prices for the Youth Bullfight.
Those under 15 years old can benefit from a 50% discount on the novice bullfights on August 9 and 14, on the bullfights on August 15 and 17, and on the rejoneo (bullfighting on horseback) on August 16. The offer applies to any seat in the bullring, except for the barrier and contrabarrera. Additionally, on August 18, children can attend the Youth Bullfight for just 1 euro if accompanied by an adult.
For young people aged between 15 and 25, the promotion includes the same 50% discount on the same specified dates, but with a limitation: the discounted seats are limited to sections 4 and 5 in the sun, rows 1 to 10. For the Youth Bullfight, the price for this group is 10 euros.
The purchase of these promotional tickets must be made in person at the La Malagueta ticket offices. They are not available online. It is mandatory to present the ID of the beneficiary both at the time of purchase and upon entry to the bullring, to verify age.
The cycle kicks off on Saturday, August 8, with a National Recortadores Contest featuring calves from Antonio Bañuelos. The first novice bullfight with picadors on Sunday, August 9, hosts the Grand Final of the Andalucía 2026 Circuit, with calves from López Gibaja for Julio Norte, Manuel Quintana, and Dennis Martín. From August 10 to 13, the International Contest of Taurine Schools La Malagueta will take place.
On Friday, August 14, the second mixed novice bullfight with picadors will feature a calf from Fermín Bohórquez for rejoneo and six from Fuente Ymbro for foot fighting, with rejoneador Francisco Martín and novice bullfighters Francisco Morales, Emiliano Osornio, and Ignacio Garibay. On Saturday, August 15, there will be an extraordinary bullfight 'Sabor a Málaga' with bulls from Lagunajanda for Mari Paz Vega, who is retiring, David Galán, and José Antonio Lavado.
On Sunday, August 16, there will be a rejoneo bullfight with bulls from Los Espartales for Rui Fernandes, Diego Ventura, and Ferrer Martín. On Monday, August 17, a tribute bullfight to the Málaga Football Club will take place, with bulls from Juan Pedro Domecq for Sebastián Castella, Daniel Luque, and David de Miranda. On Tuesday, August 18, the Youth Bullfight will feature bulls from El Parralejo for El Fandi, Borja Jiménez, and Marco Pérez.
The festivities continue on Wednesday, August 19, with bulls from Victoriano del Río for Alejandro Talavante, Emilio de Justo, and Roca Rey; on Thursday, August 20, bulls from Núñez del Cuvillo for Morante de la Puebla, Diego Urdiales, and Fortes; on Friday, August 21, bulls from Victorino Martín for Manuel Escribano, Emilio de Justo, and Fortes; and on Saturday, August 22, the extraordinary bullfight for the 150th anniversary, with three bulls from Torrealta and three from Garcigrande for Morante de la Puebla, Roca Rey, and David de Miranda.
These promotions aim to encourage interest among the younger generation, ensuring the generational shift in the stands. Interested individuals can visit the La Malagueta ticket offices to purchase their tickets with discounts, always with their ID in hand.
