The Municipal Band of Music of Málaga has presented its 2026/2027 season, featuring twenty free concerts in various venues across the city. The cycle includes a new programme for families and the second edition of the cycle in the Patio de las Cadenas of the Cathedral.
The Municipal Band of Music of Málaga has revealed its schedule for the 2026/2027 season, consisting of twenty concerts that will take place at different locations in the capital with free entry until capacity is reached.
The season will kick off in the plaza de Tabacalera and conclude at the Castillo de Gibralfaro. In between, the ensemble will perform at the esplanade of the Santuario de la Victoria, the Museum of Málaga, the Botanical-Historical Garden La Concepción, and the IES Vicente Espinel (Gaona), as reported by the Málaga City Council.
As a new feature, the cycle includes a specific programme for families, with repertoires designed for children and young audiences. Additionally, the musical cycle in the Patio de las Cadenas of the Cathedral will continue with its second edition.
The free access format remains for all events, allowing live music to reach different neighbourhoods and heritage environments of the city.
