The 'Alegría' exhibition, organised by CON2LUNARES and MAKYRE EVENTOS, opens its doors at the Alegría Flamenco and Gastronomy space with creations from twenty local brands. It includes a showroom on July 27 and a fashion show on the 30.
The lead-up to the Málaga Fair is adorned with ruffles and colour with the inauguration of 'Alegría', an exhibition that brings together the work of twenty flamenco fashion designers from the province starting this Thursday. The exhibition, which can be visited until August 23 at the Alegría Flamenco and Gastronomy space, located at Calle Vélez Málaga 6, is open from 10:00 to 18:00 hours.
The initiative, driven by CON2LUNARES and MAKYRE EVENTOS, transforms the central venue into a showcase of local creativity and craftsmanship. Among the names exhibiting their proposals are Ada Gutiérrez, Amparo Pardal, Astrid Höhle, Cándido Luis, Carmen Garrido, Enrike Vicent, Flamenca Florido, Flosagua Flamenca, Jote Martínez, Mar Abad, Marta Krauel, Patricia Calderón, Rocío Monserrat, Rosa Laura, Samuel Reyes, Vístete de Flamenca and Viva la Feria.
The inaugural event was attended by the first deputy mayor and councillor for Commerce of the Málaga City Council, Elisa Pérez de Siles, alongside the director of CON2LUNARES and MAKYRE EVENTOS, Macarena Regueira, and the commercial director of Alegría Flamenco, Lupe Molina. The exhibition is supported by the City Council, Mius Model, Iván Rojas Hairdressing and Makeup, and the Nouer Magazine.
The exhibition is complemented by a parallel programme designed for those finalising their fair styling. On Monday, July 27, a showroom will take place from 12:00 to 22:00 hours, where brands such as Ada Gutiérrez, Almamera, Ana Lanas, Mar Abad, Montecolina, D la Esperanza, Patricia Calderón, NP Belleza, and Ribes y Casals will present their new collections and special offers on dresses, fabrics, and accessories.
The grand finale will arrive on Thursday, July 30 with a fashion show featuring flamenco-inspired trends, showcasing the evolution of flamenco fashion towards Andalusian-inspired proposals designed for year-round wear. The runway will feature dresses, jackets, and outfits with Andalusian cuts intended for both everyday wear and events and celebrations.
Tickets for the fashion show will be available from July 27 through a link that will be published on the social media of @con2lunaresmlg. With this initiative, CON2LUNARES reinforces its commitment to promoting Málaga flamenco fashion and supporting local talent in a sector that has successfully expanded its horizons beyond the Málaga Fair.
