The Torremolinos Town Hall will install a giant screen in the Parque de la Batería this Friday so that residents can watch the Spanish National Team's match against Belgium live. Access will be free and will open at 20:00.

This coming Friday, football will take over the Parque de la Batería in Torremolinos. The Town Hall has announced the installation of a giant screen to broadcast the match of the Spanish National Team against Belgium, part of the World Cup. Fans will be able to access for free from eight in the evening to enjoy the atmosphere and experience the match together.

A Friday plan with a World Cup flavour

The football event will not be the only attraction of the weekend in the municipality. The cultural programme kicks off on Thursday with the inauguration of the exhibition ‘Biomágico’ by artist Jesús Calzada at the Casa de los Navajas at 20:00. The exhibition will be open until 4 October, from Wednesday to Sunday, with free entry.

On the same Thursday, the Isabel Manoja Community Development Centre will host a workshop from the ‘Women’s School’ on dermoesthetics, lifestyle habits, and nutrition, from 18:00 to 20:00. Attendance is free, but prior registration is required through the Torremolinos Despega App.

Exhibitions and culture for all audiences

On Friday 10 July, another exhibition will be added: ‘Verso libre’ by Jorge Rivas, on the first floor of the Torremolinos Town Hall. It will be inaugurated at 20:00 and will remain open until 28 August, from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 13:30, with free access.

Additionally, until 26 July, young people aged 14 to 30 can participate in a 3D Modelling workshop with Blender, held every Friday from 17:00 to 19:00 at the same community centre. Registrations are also made through the municipal App.

On Sunday, the Torremolinos flea market will be set up at the fairgrounds from 09:00 to 14:00, as it is every week. Those with literary interests can enter the V Torremolinos Short Story Contest, with registration open until 30 September. The rules are available on the municipal website.

Until 12 July, the exhibition ‘400 years of history of the Consular Corps in Málaga 1641-2026’ can also be visited on Avenida Palma de Mallorca. A complete weekend for all tastes in Torremolinos, with football as the main attraction on Friday.
