Registration is free and can be done through the official congress website. This congress aims to be a space for training, dialogue, and participation, focusing on the rights of LGTBI individuals and the prevention of LGTBIfobia.
Objectives and activities of the congress
Under the slogan 'Respect and Diversity: red card to intolerance', the event seeks solutions to ensure respect and protection of the right to diversity and gender identity in various areas, including education, health, and employment.
Among the activities of the congress is a round table on intersexuality, where the inaugural lecture 'Intersexualities: bodies beyond sexual binarism' will be presented by writer Mer Gómez. It will also address the role of sports as a space for inclusion.
Detailed programme
During the first day, the invisibilities within the LGTBI community will be discussed and how sports can promote inclusion. On the second day, the 'Education' panel will review the challenges of creating educational spaces free from LGTBIfobia.
Among the participants are prominent figures such as the mayor of Torremolinos, Margarita del Cid, and Loles López, the Social Services Councillor. The congress will conclude with an institutional closing.
