Manilva's Councillor for Equality and Diversity, Laura Salazar, has represented the municipality at the VI International LGTBI Congress of Andalusia, held in Torremolinos. The meeting, promoted by the Junta, has addressed the prevention of LGTBIfobia and specialised training.

The Councillor for Equality and Diversity of the Manilva City Council, Laura Salazar, attended the VI International LGTBI Congress of Andalusia, which took place in Torremolinos. The event, driven by the Junta de Andalucía through the General Directorate of Volunteering and Diversity, brought together institutional representatives and experts to discuss the rights of LGTBI individuals and their families.

The congress programme included sessions on awareness, specialised training, and the prevention and elimination of LGTBIfobia. The presence of the Manilva councillor aligns with the council's ongoing work in the areas of equality and coexistence.

The Manilva City Council has stated that it continues to work towards a society based on respect, equality, coexistence, and diversity.
