The Chamber of Commerce of Málaga welcomes the ambassador of Bangladesh in Spain to open business avenues in textiles, logistics, technology, industry, construction, and maritime activity.
The Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation of Málaga has received a visit from the ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh in Spain, Masudur Rahman, with the aim of strengthening economic ties and exploring new opportunities for business cooperation between the province and the Asian country.
The meeting was led by the vice president of the Chamber, Paloma Moreno, accompanied by the Foreign Trade and Internationalization team. The meeting was also attended by Minister Deen Imadul Hoque, the first secretary and acting Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of Bangladesh, Mahid Al Hassan, and a representative from the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the country.
During the meeting, both parties presented the opportunities offered by their respective markets. The Málaga Chamber presented the economic environment of the province and the capabilities of its business fabric, while the Bangladeshi delegation detailed the business and investment possibilities for companies interested in accessing that market.
Bangladesh represents a market of interest for companies in Málaga in sectors such as textiles, logistics, technology, industry, construction, and maritime activity, according to the chamber institution.
“Keeping these channels of dialogue open allows us to better understand other markets and, at the same time, showcase the potential and capabilities of our companies,” highlighted Moreno.
The vice president added that the Chamber's intention is to “continue acting as a connection point between Málaga and international markets, facilitating contacts and generating opportunities that can translate into new business relationships and collaboration projects.”
This type of meeting is part of the Chamber's internationalization strategy, which aims to bring new markets closer to the Málaga business fabric, especially to SMEs, and promote contacts that lead to future business relationships. Both parties have agreed to maintain these institutional and business contacts to identify areas of common interest.
