The Mijas Town Hall will launch a shuttle bus service for the Mijas Fair from September 7 to 12. Ten vehicles will connect Osunillas, La Cala, Las Lagunas, and the quarry with the town.

The Town Hall of Mijas will activate a shuttle bus service between September 7 and 12 to facilitate the movement of residents and visitors during the Mijas Fair. The fleet will consist of ten buses departing from Osunillas, La Cala, Las Lagunas, and the town quarry, where parking areas will be set up.

The Councillor for Mobility, Marco Cortés, presented the plan this Thursday, which will be based at the plaza de la Fuente de la Seda, next to the town hall building. A bus will leave every hour on the hour from each area heading to the town.

The service will start on the first day of the fair, September 7, at 18:00 from Osunillas (football field stop) and at 19:00 from La Cala (fairground) and Las Lagunas (Avenida María Zambrano, next to the fairground).

On September 8, 9, and 10, the shuttles from La Cala and Las Lagunas will start at 17:00, while on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 they will begin at 15:00. For Osunillas, the departure will be at 17:00 every day from September 8 to 12. The shuttle from the quarry will operate daily from September 7 to 12, from 10:00 to 04:30.

The last departures from the town to all destinations will be at 05:00, as detailed by Cortés.

Additionally, the Metropolitan Transport Consortium of Málaga will reinforce the M-122 Fuengirola-Mijas route, which connects Mijas Pueblo and Fuengirola, with more night services. Seven additional full services will be added, departing from Fuengirola until 02:00 and from Mijas Pueblo until 02:30.
