The fourth edition of the outdoor night spinning marathon will take place on Friday, September 18, in the central square of Fuengirola's Marina. The proceeds, 10 euros per registration, will go entirely to AFA Fuengirola-Mijas.

The Fuengirola City Council will hold the fourth edition of the outdoor night spinning marathon on Friday, September 18, as part of the municipal programme 'Fuengirola en Forma'. The event will start at 19:00 in the central square of the Marina and will have a strong charitable focus: all proceeds will be donated to the Association of Relatives of Alzheimer's Patients Fuengirola-Mijas (AFA).

The Sports Councillor, Julio Rodríguez, presented the initiative at the Sohail Physiotherapy Clinic, the event's sponsor, accompanied by AFA's president, Paqui Lebrón. Rodríguez encouraged participation: “We continue to promote healthy habits while also fostering solidarity in our city. In addition to enjoying a different evening exercising in a privileged setting, we will be directly supporting the magnificent work that AFA does.”

The activity will feature around one hundred bicycles and will be led by specialised instructors from the Coliseo gym, which will provide the equipment and professionals for the classes. Registration costs 10 euros and can be completed at the Coliseo gym or at the Sports Department.

“We are very grateful to the Fuengirola City Council for allocating the proceeds from this activity to our association, especially in the month we celebrate World Alzheimer's Day,” said Lebrón.

Those who cannot participate in the marathon can also contribute through a zero row. Additionally, AFA will set up donation tables at the event venue to receive contributions and raise awareness of their support work with Alzheimer's patients and their families.
