The Marbella district of Nueva Andalucía will host its annual fair from July 23 to 26, featuring a programme of over fifty events, including the opening speech by local artist Juan de Lola and the traditional Domingo Rociero.
The Nueva Andalucía Fair 2026 now has its dates and programme. The Marbella district will celebrate its most anticipated festive event from July 23 to 26, with over fifty activities for all audiences. The district councillor, Vanessa Ortiz de Zárate, presented the poster for this edition on Monday, which will emphasise family character and citizen participation.
The Caridad venue will once again be the epicentre of four days of togetherness, tradition, and entertainment. The programme will kick off on Thursday, July 23, with the coronation and presentation of bands to the queens, ladies, and kings of the fair, followed by the official inauguration and the opening speech by Juan de Lola, a local artist closely linked to the neighbourhood. Performances by Eli García's dance academy and the Dúo Arenal will complete the first night.
Quiet Hours and Water Festival
On Friday, July 24, it will be time for activities from the Active Participation Centre (CPA) of Nueva Andalucía and a new edition of quiet hours, an initiative that will take place from 7:00 PM in the attractions area to enhance the enjoyment of people with sensory sensitivities. In the evening, the Dúo Maverick and the Dúo Arenal will perform.
Saturday, July 25, will be marked by the Water Festival, which will take place at the facilities of the Instituto de Nueva Andalucía thanks to the collaboration of the educational centre. The day will also include performances by the CPA dance group, the Virgen Madre Rociero Choir, the Los Calvin group, and the Dúo Arenal.
Domingo Rociero and Children's Day
Domingo Rociero, on July 26, will bring together locals and visitors around the mass, socialising in the seniors' tent, and musical and dance performances. Additionally, Miss and Mister Domingo Rociero will be chosen. This day will coincide with Children's Day, featuring special prices for attractions.
Ortiz de Zárate thanked the involvement of associations, businesses, hotels, shops, artists, and volunteers who collaborate each year in organising the fair. She also highlighted the role of the associative fabric of Nueva Andalucía, such as the CPA, the Virgen Madre Rociero Choir, the Al-Andalus Association, and local dance academies.
The announcer, Juan de Lola, expressed his gratitude for the appointment and stated that it is an honour to address a place with which he has a close personal and family connection. The promotional poster for this edition, created by municipal worker Manuel Blánquez, reflects representative elements of the district such as Puerto Banús and the Andalusian essence of the celebration.
