The Marbella district of Las Chapas will celebrate its Festival from July 30 to August 2 with a new fairground at the corner of Avenida Valeriano Rodríguez and Calle Joaquín Rodrigo.

The Las Chapas Festival 2026 will take place from Thursday, July 30 to Sunday, August 2, featuring a programme that includes musical performances, traditional activities, sports competitions, and offerings for all audiences. The main novelty of this edition is the debut of a new fairground, located at the corner of Avenida Valeriano Rodríguez and Calle Joaquín Rodrigo.

The programme will kick off on Thursday, July 30, with the opening of the fairground at 8:00 PM. The first night will feature a performance by the group of Karina Parra and the start of dancing in the official tent with Dúo Arenal.

Friday, July 31, will be marked by sports competitions. In the morning, the XIX Domino Tournament of the Active Participation Centre (CPA) of Las Chapas will take place, and in the afternoon, the I Football Tournament of the Las Chapas Festival will occur in the children's and youth categories.

On the same day, at 9:00 PM, the official opening speech will be delivered by gynaecologist Freddy Simón. Following this, the queens and princesses of the children and youth categories will be crowned, as well as the Queen of the CPA and Lady Las Chapas 2026. The day will conclude with musical performances in the municipal tent.

On Saturday, August 1, the football tournament will continue with the categories of alevín, cadete, and veterans. Additionally, the CPA of Las Chapas will organise a communal lunch. In the afternoon, the twenty-third edition of the Day of the Pedal will take place, starting from the fairground and covering various streets in the district. At the end, there will be a traditional raffle of gifts among the participants.

Saturday night will be enlivened by Dúo Maverick and the group Zayas. On Sunday, August 2, the last day of the fair, there will be a large children's party with entertainment and water attractions. Moreover, it will be Children's Day, with affordable prices for the attractions. In the afternoon, trophies for the various competitions will be awarded. The final touch will be a dance in the Municipal Tent featuring Los Piratas Flamencos.

The new fairground, debuting this year, aims to enhance the experience of attendees with a larger and more accessible space. The organisation expects high participation in all scheduled activities.

The Las Chapas Festival is one of the most important festive events in the district, bringing together locals and visitors each year in an atmosphere of community and tradition. With this programme, the Marbella City Council and the residents' association of Las Chapas aim to keep the essence of these festivities alive while adapting to current needs.

For more information on schedules and activities, interested parties can check the complete programme on the Marbella City Council website or on the official social media of the district.
