Casino Marbella, a leader in leisure on the Costa del Sol, will inaugurate an expansion of its machine area on July 23, featuring over 130 state-of-the-art slots, following a renovation that began in March.
Founded in 1978, Casino Marbella has announced the expansion of its slot machine area, which will now include over 130 state-of-the-art devices. The renovation, which started on March 23, will culminate in an inauguration event on July 23 at 21:00 in the establishment's gardens, located in the heart of the Costa del Sol's golden mile.
The new slot area reinforces the casino's commitment to innovation and quality, at a time when the land-based gaming sector is seeking to regain momentum after the pandemic. With this expansion, Casino Marbella positions itself as one of the establishments with the largest offering of machines in the province of Málaga, directly competing with other major Andalusian casinos such as Casino Torrequebrada in Benalmádena or Casino Aljarafe in Seville.
The casino's management has explained that the renovation not only increases the number of machines but also incorporates touch screen technology, interactive bonus systems, and titles from leading international developers such as Aristocrat and Novomatic. Additionally, the layout of the space has been redesigned to enhance the customer experience, with relaxation areas and improved ambient lighting.
The inauguration event will feature a live DJ, live performances, and top-notch catering, in an evening intended to bring together regular customers, collaborators, and media. “We are not only celebrating the new area but also the constant evolution of a brand that has been a reference on the Costa del Sol for nearly five decades,” casino sources state.
At the same time, the CIRSA group, owner of Casino Marbella, has launched the digital platform casinomarbella.es, which operates under the license of the General Directorate of Gaming Regulation (DGOJ). This website allows users to play roulette, blackjack, slots, and sports betting from anywhere in Spain, with responsible gaming tools. The omnichannel strategy aims to retain physical casino customers and attract a younger audience accustomed to digital consumption.
In the gastronomic sphere, the casino's restaurant has updated its summer menu with dishes such as ray fillet and warm Russian salad, while internal training for dealers remains a priority to ensure high-level service. “We invest in talent and facilities to offer a comprehensive luxury experience,” the management adds.
The expansion of the slot area comes in a context of growth for land-based gaming on the Costa del Sol, where high-spending tourism continues to be a key driver. According to data from the Association of Gaming Entrepreneurs of Andalusia, the revenue of Andalusian casinos increased by 12% in 2025 compared to the previous year, driven by the recovery of international tourism. Casino Marbella expects this investment to solidify its position in an increasingly competitive market.
The inauguration is set for July 23 at 21:00 in the gardens of Casino Marbella. Entry will be by invitation only, and those interested can request more information through the casino's new website.
