Mario Jiménez attended the reception of the training ship 'Mircea' in the Port of Málaga for the 145th anniversary of relations between both countries.
The Mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, attended on 25th August the reception of the training ship ‘Mircea’ in the Port of Málaga, an event organized to commemorate the 145th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Romania and Spain.
The invitation was extended by the Embassy of Romania in the Kingdom of Spain, represented by its chargé d'affaires, Raluca Mihaila. Also present were Captain Gabriel Moise and Frigate Captain Silviu Moraru, among other authorities.
The event was attended by the territorial delegate for Health and Consumer Affairs, Lucía Yeves, and the Mayor of Málaga, Francisco de la Torre, as well as other local and diplomatic figures.
The Manilva mayor, who is very sensitive to the various cultures and nationalities living in the municipality, such as the Romanian community, wanted to show his support for this celebration, which strengthens the ties between both countries.
The reception took place during the stopover of the Romanian training ship in the Málaga capital, a milestone that serves to strengthen institutional and cultural relations between the province and the European country.
