The Manilva Town Hall has presented a video to promote road safety among electric scooter users, in collaboration with the Local Police.
The municipality of Manilva has launched an awareness campaign to promote the proper use of the electric scooter. The mayor, Mario Jiménez, along with council members Juan Carlos Morejón, Laura Salazar, and Gema Zotano, and the chief of the Local Police, have introduced an informative video aimed at both drivers of these vehicles and pedestrians.
The aim of the council is to reduce the risks associated with improper use of scooters, a mode of transport increasingly present on the streets of the municipality. The campaign emphasizes the shared responsibility to ensure the safety of all citizens.
In the coming days, the municipal ordinances that will regulate the circulation of these vehicles in detail are expected to come into effect. The regulations will establish usage rules, permitted spaces, and penalties in case of non-compliance.
The video has been produced by professionals from RTV Municipal, with the active collaboration of the Local Police, who participated in its creation to provide technical criteria and bring safety guidelines closer to the public.
The initiative aims for the residents of Manilva to be aware of the new rules in advance and adopt safe habits before the ordinance takes effect. The Town Hall insists that prevention is key to avoiding accidents and ensuring peaceful coexistence on public roads.
