The event, which combines sport and solidarity, will take place on Saturday, September 19 in Los Boliches. Registrations are now open and payment will be a donation for Cudeca.

The IX Mile and March of Pedro Cuevas will be held next Saturday, September 19 in Fuengirola, starting at 19:00 from the Pedro Cuevas square in Los Boliches. The event, organised in collaboration with the Fuengirola Athletics Club, once again brings together sport and solidarity in aid of the Cudeca Foundation.

The Councillor for Sports, Julio Rodríguez, has encouraged the residents of Fuengirola to participate in this well-established event in the city's sports calendar and has highlighted its charitable nature. Rodríguez thanked the Fuengirola Athletics Club for their “strong collaboration with the essential work of Cudeca and their commitment to ensuring that this initiative continues to grow.”

Registrations are now open through the Dorsalchip platform, with a fee of 4 euros for the categories from benjamín to infantil and 5 euros for the categories from cadete to veterans. Payment will be made as a donation for Cudeca at the time of collecting the race number. Additionally, on the day of the event, between 18:00 and 18:50, 20 race numbers will be reserved for those who have not been able to register in advance.

The collection of race numbers will take place on Friday, September 18 at the Sports Department from 8:30 to 14:00, and also on Saturday from 18:00 at the Pedro Cuevas square itself. Participants can pick up their number and make the donation at these points.

As for the prizes, trophies will be awarded to the top three overall finishers, both male and female, in the mile for the categories from cadete to veterans. Medals will also be given to the top three in each category. The day will be completed with raffles and draws for gifts in aid of Cudeca, thanks to the collaboration of various companies and entities.

Alongside the competition, a march will be held along the promenade, also starting from the Pedro Cuevas square, designed for those who want to join this solidarity day without participating in the competitive event. The event is open to runners and walkers of all ages.

The Fuengirola City Council encourages residents and visitors to participate in this event that combines sport, community and solidarity, contributing to the work carried out by Cudeca in supporting people with advanced illnesses.
