The Fuengirola City Council has launched 'Fuengirola de Feria: El Reto', a daily game in the 'Fuengirola Más Viva' app with double tickets for the performances of the Feria del Rosario 2026 as prizes.
Residents of Fuengirola can now test how much they know about their festivities. The Department of Commerce has launched 'Fuengirola de Feria: El Reto', a game available in the 'Fuengirola Más Viva' application that poses a daily question about various aspects of the Feria and Fiestas del Rosario. The initiative will be active until October 5.
The councillor for Commerce, Francisco Javier García Lara, has presented the initiative, which reviews the traditions of the celebration, the Romería, the programming for 2026, the Recinto Ferial, the performances, and local commerce.
"We want to take advantage of the possibilities offered by 'Fuengirola Más Viva' to bring our Feria even closer to citizens in a fun and participatory way," García Lara stated.
To participate, users must have the 'Fuengirola Más Viva' app downloaded and updated, go to the 'Feria del Rosario' section, and access 'Fuengirola de Feria: El Reto'. Then, the user chooses a nickname, selects three prizes in order of preference, and confirms their participation. Each day a question is published with several options and only one correct answer, and each challenge can only be answered once.
The points system is as follows: participating earns one point and answering correctly adds two additional points. Those who complete the nine challenges receive an extra point, so the maximum score is 28 points.
Participants with the highest scores will be eligible for double tickets for the performances of the Feria del Rosario 2026. The prizes will be awarded on October 6, based on the final ranking, any possible ties, and ticket availability. Winners will be contacted through the details associated with their 'Fuengirola Más Viva' account.
"We invite you to accept the challenge, play every day, and show how much you know about our Feria. It’s a different way to enjoy and discover everything that makes this celebration unique," the councillor encouraged.
The deadline to play ends on October 5, and the distribution of tickets will be decided the following day, October 6.
