Estepona Town Hall will create around fifteen free parking spaces next to the bus station by removing a slope and preparing approximately 300 square metres.
Estepona Town Hall has announced the creation of around fifteen new free parking spaces in the vicinity of the bus station. This action will make use of a space currently occupied by a slope, which will be transformed to meet the parking demand in the area.
The work will begin with the removal of the slope to generate the necessary surface. Then curbs will be placed, the ground will be prepared, and the entire area, covering about 300 square metres, will be asphalted.
The intervention will improve the integration of the space within the surroundings of the station and facilitate parking for residents and users. Additionally, the Town Hall has already carried out road surface repairs on Avenida Jesús de Polanco, a key route for accessing this infrastructure, aiming to ensure safer circulation.
This action is part of the municipal plan to expand the public parking offer in various locations throughout the city. Specifically, in the Sierra Estepona area, on the streets Alejo Carpentier, Pilar Bardem, and Miguel Clavijo, 98 new spaces will be created thanks to the reorganisation of the area.
The works are part of other measures promoted by the Town Hall to optimise public spaces and improve mobility. The start date and duration of the works have not been specified, but the project is already underway and will be executed in phases.
