Estepona Town Hall plans to soon tender the project for the comprehensive renovation of the central Mesurado Street, located around the church of Los Remedios. The action aims to modernise public services and improve the usability and safety conditions of this road, which connects Fraile and María Espinosa streets.
The intervention includes the complete replacement of the supply and sewage networks, an action aimed at renewing infrastructures that have become obsolete and adapting them to the current needs of the area.
Additionally, the pavement will be renewed across the entire affected surface, which will improve the overall condition of the road and the circulation and safety conditions for residents and users.
The project also incorporates accessibility criteria, in accordance with the requirements of regional regulations, with the aim of achieving a safer, more functional, and accessible urban space for everyone.
This action is part of the municipal initiative ‘Estepona, Garden of the Costa del Sol’, with which the City Council has already renovated more than 130 streets in the urban area. With this new intervention, the municipality continues to advance in the modernisation of its urban infrastructures, with special attention to improving public services, road safety, and accessibility.
The tender for the project will be published soon, and the works will be carried out once awarded, with a timeframe for the works to be determined in the contract.
