Casares kicks off the autumn of Madurez Activa with lunch and dance this Sunday

The municipal programme Madurez Activa opens its season in Casares with workshops, sports, and gatherings for adults. The first event is this Sunday, October 4, on International Day of Older Persons, featuring lunch and dance.

The Social Welfare Department of the Casares Town Hall has presented the autumn schedule for Madurez Activa, which kicks off this Sunday, October 4, with the celebration of International Day of Older Persons. The day will include lunch and an afternoon of dance and activities.

The programme is divided into three independent plans for Casares Pueblo, Casares Costa, and Secadero. The offerings include craft workshops, informative talks, sports practice, and special services, as well as bingo and dance afternoons.

The calendar of gatherings will begin with the event on Sunday and continue on October 29 with the Gerontogymnastics Meeting in Secadero. On November 14, an afternoon of dance and socialising is planned. The season will conclude with a Christmas tea and a cultural outing, the destination of which will be announced soon.
