Plaza de Andalucía will host a fair on Sunday, November 15, featuring a craft market, nearly 20 free workshops, and a participatory parade. The event is free and does not require registration.
The Plaza de Andalucía in Casares will host a Creative Fair on Sunday, November 15, from 10:00 to 14:00, dedicated to art, crafts, fashion, design, and the reuse of objects and materials. The event was postponed due to the forecast of rain.
The programme combines a market of local crafts, fashion, art, design, and accessories with live sewing demonstrations, baking, Live Art proposals featuring graffiti, and music from a DJ spinning vinyl. There will also be nearly 20 free workshops for children and adults on customisation, creative recycling, and material transformation.
Among the workshops are decorating wooden signs, T-shirts, vases, and jewellery boxes, creating hair ties, bookmarks, badges, and magnets, personalising jackets, jeans, phone cases, and tote bags, making soaps, and restoring furniture.
The fair will conclude with a participatory fashion parade open to locals and attendees, who will be able to showcase the garments and creations made throughout the morning.
Participation is free and does not require prior registration. The activity is part of the campaign “Once upon a time…”, focused on circular economy, promoted by the Casares Town Hall in collaboration with Comunicación Al Dente. According to the Town Hall, the campaign will also reach educational centres in the coming weeks.
