The new social chronicle programme, hosted by Santi Acosta and Beatriz Archidona, will air from 18:15 to 20:00, replacing 'El diario de Jorge' for the summer.

Telecinco has confirmed that its new evening magazine, 'De lunes a viernes', will start next Monday, July 6. The show, hosted by Santi Acosta and Beatriz Archidona, will occupy the slot from 18:15 to 20:00, right after 'El verano se mueve' and before the quiz show 'Allá tú'.

The arrival of this format means the temporary departure of 'El diario de Jorge', which bids farewell to the summer schedule. The channel has reorganised its afternoons to offer a continuous programming of entertainment and celebrity news. According to Mediaset, the new daily schedule will begin at 15:45 with 'Amor o lo que surja', followed by 'El verano se mueve' at 17:00, 'De lunes a viernes' at 18:15, and finally, 'Allá tú' at 20:00.

The programme will feature a strong group of collaborators, including journalist Karmele Marchante, who returns to Telecinco's afternoons, and Claudia Chacón, one of the standout contestants from 'Supervivientes 2026'. Both will analyse celebrity news with their characteristic style.

With this move, Telecinco aims to strengthen its evening slot during the summer months, competing directly with other channels that have also renewed their offerings. The channel is confident that the combination of entertainment and social chronicle will attract viewers, especially during a period when current affairs programmes tend to be well received.

The schedule for 'De lunes a viernes' will remain throughout the summer season, with an approximate duration of one hour and 45 minutes. The channel does not rule out making adjustments based on audience response, but for now, the schedule is set as announced.

For fans of the genre, Karmele Marchante's return to Telecinco provides an additional incentive, as she has been one of the most recognised voices in the celebrity world for decades. Meanwhile, Claudia Chacón will bring the freshness of her recent experience on the survival reality show, promising to generate debates and moments of tension in the studio.

The channel has reminded viewers that the programme will be broadcast live, allowing for reactions to breaking celebrity news. Audiences will be able to follow daily updates on celebrities, exclusives, and rumours, with the hallmark that has characterised Telecinco's magazines.

In short, on July 6 at 18:15, Telecinco will kick off 'De lunes a viernes', a format that promises to be the centre of attention for summer afternoons. We will have to wait for the first audience figures to see if Mediaset's gamble connects with the public.
