Santi Acosta and Beatriz Archidona incorporate Maica Benedicto and Karmele Marchante into their new daily show '¡De Lunes a Viernes!', which premieres on July 6 on Telecinco.
Santi Acosta and Beatriz Archidona are back this summer with a new daily show on Telecinco. Starting on July 6 at 18:15, ‘¡De Lunes a Viernes!’ promises non-stop entertainment, with a cheeky and carefree tone and the latest from the celebrity world. The duo, who are already thriving in prime time with ‘¡De Viernes!’, is joined by a large team of 16 collaborators, including two star recruits: the veteran Karmele Marchante and the young Maica Benedicto, the recent winner of Supervivientes 2026.
A luxury team for Telecinco's afternoons
The show, produced in collaboration with Producciones Mandarina, will feature live connections and a large group of reporters. Among the regular collaborators who are already part of the successful ‘¡De Viernes!’ and are now expanding their presence are Ángela Portero, José Antonio León, Lydia Lozano, Antonio Rossi, and Terelu Campos. They are joined by Rosa Benito, Laura Matamoros, Gema Fernández, and María Jesús Ruiz, as well as new faces like Ylenia Padilla, Claudia Chacón, Sebas Gallego (Ondas Award for Best New Podcast), Óscar Repo (a YouTuber specialising in reality shows), and Carlos Corbacho (a former employee of Isabel Pantoja).
The big news is Maica Benedicto, who after winning Supervivientes 2026 and being one of the stars of GH 19 and GH DÚO 3, will take on the role of VIP reporter. Her mission: to cover high-society events and secure the juiciest exclusives of the summer. Meanwhile, Karmele Marchante will bring her extensive experience and unique style to the celebrity discussions.
Premiere with an exclusive: the images of Cantora
In its premiere, the show will offer an exclusive that promises to make waves: the first images from inside Cantora, the iconic estate of Isabel Pantoja. This will be the prelude to the special ‘El Precio de Cantora’, which Telecinco will air on Wednesday, July 8, showcasing all the rooms of the house for the first time on television. Viewers will be able to see both the interiors and exteriors of Spain's most famous property.
The set of ‘¡De Lunes a Viernes!’ has been designed to create three distinct environments: a main set with an audience, a backstage area for more intimate moments, and an integrated DJ booth that will add rhythm to the show. The scenery is bright and colourful, featuring a large 20-square-metre screen that will serve as access and separation between areas.
Opinion: A summer of guaranteed gossip
With this recruitment, Telecinco bets on what it does best: giving the audience what they want. And what they want, at least in summer, is celebrity news, exclusives, and plenty of gossip. The combination of veterans like Karmele and young talents like Maica promises dynamism and some confrontations that, let’s be honest, are what keeps viewers hooked. If the pace of ‘¡De Viernes!’ translates to the afternoon, viewers will have reasons not to change the channel. And with the promise of images from Cantora, the premiere is set to be a real hit. Who said summer is boring on television?
