The general coordinator of the PP of Málaga, Cristóbal Ortega, has denounced that the PSOE 'has lost its way amid so much corruption' and has demanded explanations in Ronda regarding the indictment of the socialist Ana María Fuentes in the sanchismo sewer plot.
The general coordinator of the PP of Málaga, Cristóbal Ortega, has heavily criticized the PSOE, accusing them of being “lost amid so much corruption.” During a press conference, Ortega stated that “if anyone should give explanations in Ronda, it is the party of the sewers,” referring to the indictment of the rondeña Ana María Fuentes in the plot to destabilize judicial cases affecting the government of Pedro Sánchez.
Ortega criticized the Málaga socialists for “pointing out the speck in someone else's eye” and denounced the “cynicism” of the PSOE for attacking the mayor of Ronda over facts that have already been archived by a judge and the Court of Auditors. “They don’t say this, but if anyone should give explanations in Ronda, it is the PSOE itself,” he asserted, recalling the conviction of the former socialist councillor and his daughter in the ‘wedding’ case.
The popular leader also highlighted Ana María Fuentes' involvement in the sanchismo sewers and mentioned that the ‘plumber Leire Díez’ investigated the Isofotón case and its connection with Minister María Jesús Montero. He also pointed out that the UCO indicated alleged payments from Koldo to prostitutes during José Luis Ábalos' visits to Málaga and Andalucía, as well as conversations to rig contracts in Mijas with the previous socialist government team.
Ortega brought up the investigation opened against the mayor and five councillors of the socialist government team in Frigiliana following a thirteen-hour search by the Civil Guard at the Town Hall and private homes for alleged crimes of prevarication, embezzlement of public funds, fraud in public contracting, influence peddling, and belonging to a criminal organization.
“I insist, the PSOE is lost, and this has been demonstrated by the data following the recent Andalusian elections in the province of Málaga, but not everything goes,” Ortega stated, encouraging the socialists to “abandon the dirty war of sanchismo and demand from the government all the investments and infrastructures that it has been denying this province for the past eight years.”
The PP of Málaga insists that the PSOE must provide explanations regarding the corruption cases affecting the province and demands transparency from the party in government.
