The Rincón de la Victoria Town Hall has put out to tender the concierge service, access control, and supervision of its sports facilities and educational centres used for extracurricular activities. The budget amounts to €249,679.99, and bids can be submitted until 24 September.
The Rincón de la Victoria Town Hall, through the Sports Area, has initiated the tender for the concierge service, access control, supervision, and functional maintenance of the municipal sports facilities, as well as the educational centres that have sports spaces for extracurricular use. The contract has a base budget of €249,679.99, VAT included.
The service will be provided in spaces such as the Rubén Ruzafa Covered Pavilion, the Manuel Becerra Rugby Field, the sports facilities of the municipal swimming pool on Malvaloca Street, the Rubén Ruzafa and Jaime Pimentel multi-sport and paddle courts, the pickleball courts of Torre de Benagalbón, and the tennis court on Tee Street. It also includes the sports facilities of the IES Puerta de la Axarquía, Ben Al Jatib, Bezmiliana, and Margarita Salas, as well as eight CEIP in the municipality, always outside school hours.
The Councillor for Sports, Antonio José Martín, has stated that “this service is essential for the daily operation of our sports spaces, as it ensures access control and user assistance, supervision of the facilities, and communication and monitoring of any incidents that may affect safety or the normal development of activities.”
For his part, the Mayor, Francisco Salado, has emphasised the importance of ensuring “an adequate attention, control, and supervision service for the increasing sports activity recorded in our municipality.” In this regard, he added: “We have a wide network of sports facilities that are used daily by clubs, schools, associations, and residents, and we want all of them to have the best possible conditions for operation, safety, and assistance.”
The contract includes concierge and access control services, supervision of the condition of the facilities, and, in certain centres, cleaning tasks. Among the planned functions are capacity control, user assistance and information, supervision of doors, equipment, and elements of the facilities, logistical support to clubs and associations during events, and communication and monitoring of possible incidents.
A specific incident control system will also be established, allowing for the registration of each anomaly, indicating its severity, location, date, responsible party, and progress until resolution. Serious incidents must be reported to the Sports APAL within a maximum of 24 hours, while medium-level incidents will have a maximum period of 48 hours.
The service will have eight employees, who will assume the functions of concierge, general services assistant, and cleaning necessary to cover the various spaces included in the contract. The awarded company must also have a person responsible for coordinating the service and ensure staff training, including training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the use of defibrillators.
The contract includes a total of 13,916 annual hours of service, with a schedule adapted to the needs and hours of each facility. Interested companies can submit their bids until 24 September.
