The Málaga town of Archidona will host the V Spanish Championship of Hunter Field Target on September 26 and 27, with 30 shooters from across Spain competing at the Carlos Astorga Hunting Activities Centre.
The Carlos Astorga Hunting Activities Centre in Archidona is preparing to welcome the best specialists in Hunter Field Target from all over the country. The Royal Spanish Hunting Federation has confirmed that the Málaga town will be the venue for the V Spanish Championship of this discipline, which will bring together 30 shooters from different autonomous communities.
A Precision Test in the Heart of Nature
The Hunter Field Target is a modality that combines precision, calculation, and skill. Participants must hit knockdown targets distributed in a natural environment, estimating distances and making highly accurate shots. Two national judges will ensure compliance with the official regulations throughout the weekend.
The competition will kick off on Saturday, September 26 at 9:00 AM with the reception of shooters and the free sighting of rifles. In the afternoon, at 3:00 PM, the first day of competition will begin, lasting until 7:00 PM. On Sunday, September 27, the second round will start at 10:00 AM, with the trophy presentation scheduled for 2:30 PM.
Archidona, a National Reference for the Modality
The choice of Archidona as the venue consolidates Andalusia as one of the references for Hunter Field Target in Spain. The Carlos Astorga Hunting Activities Centre, managed by the Andalusian Hunting Federation, offers ideal facilities thanks to its natural surroundings and the organisational experience accumulated in previous years.
