The courtyard of Antequera Town Hall will host the third edition of the Fashion Show on Saturday, October 10, with free entry and a show at 20:30. Ten young creators will showcase their collections, each accompanied by an audiovisual presentation of their creative process.
The courtyard of Antequera Town Hall will be the venue on Saturday, October 10 for the third edition of the Antequera Fashion Show, an event organised by the Youth Department of the council. Doors will open at 20:00 and the show will start at 20:30, with free entry for all attendees.
The delegated councillor for Youth, Marta González, presented the event at a press conference on Thursday, accompanied by three of the participating designers: Clara Aragón, Paula González, and Juani Pastrana. This edition will feature ten creators: Clara Aragón, Pilar Arroyo “Mindi”, Gonzalo García, Paula González, Marina Martín, Marta Muñoz, Christian Padilla, Juani Pastrana, Ángela Rodríguez, and Montse Torres. Some are returning from previous editions while others are joining for the first time.
As a new feature, each designer will have their own audiovisual work showcasing the creation process of their garments, from the initial sketches to the final production. The organisation has also planned an exhibition with representative pieces of this prior work, such as sketches, photographs, fabrics, and patterns.
The presentation of the show will be led by the young Antequeran journalist Judith Bracho. The Youth councillor emphasised that this initiative allows young designers in the city to have their own space to showcase their work.
“Support for the young designers of our city”
With this phrase, Marta González invited the people of Antequera to attend the event. Access to the courtyard of the Town Hall will be free until capacity is reached, and the show will begin at 20:30 on Saturday, October 10.
