The 37th Half Marathon in Torremolinos will take place on February 7, 2027, featuring an urban course of 21.097 meters approved by the Andalusian Athletics Federation.

The Torremolinos City Council has confirmed the celebration of the thirty-seventh edition of its Half Marathon, which will be held on February 7, 2027. The event, one of the oldest in the province of Málaga, expects to gather around 2,750 athletes, of which approximately half will be foreigners, according to municipal sources.

The circuit, measuring 21.097 meters and approved by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation, will run through the main streets and avenues of the coastal town, including a stretch along the promenade. The start will be from Calle de la Cruz, next to the Pablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Centre, and runners will have refreshment stations every kilometre, with indicator panels.

Registration and Prices for the Torremolinos Half Marathon

Registrations are now open with a fee ranging from 15 to 20 euros, closing on January 31, 2027. Participants will receive a pack that includes a sublimated technical t-shirt, bag, cap, and arm sleeves, as well as promotional material from collaborating brands. The organisation has set a maximum time of 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the course.

For the residents of Torremolinos and visitors, the event will result in traffic disruptions in the urban centre during the morning of Sunday. It is recommended to consult the alternative routes that the Local Police will provide. Additionally, the finish area will offer free services such as medal engraving, physiotherapy, and cloakroom.

Trophies and Bib Collection

Trophies will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each category. Bib collection will take place on Saturday, February 5 (note: the original source states 'January 5', but the race is on February 7, so it is interpreted as February 5) at the Pablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Centre, from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00. Exceptionally, bibs can also be collected on the day of the race between 8:00 and 9:00.

This sporting event consolidates Torremolinos as an international running destination, attracting athletes from over 20 countries. For local runners, it is an opportunity to compete in a festive atmosphere with a course boasting sea views. As a practical note, registered participants will receive a personalised time ticket upon crossing the finish line.
