The City Council of Torremolinos, through the Education delegation, has granted 174,650 euros in school aid for the purchase of materials and other expenses for the start of the 2026/2027 academic year.
In total, 1,097 students benefit from these grants: 895 from Primary and Secondary receive 150 euros each, while 202 from Early Childhood receive 200 euros per student.
The payment coincides with the return to school so that families have the money at the time of greatest expense. The amount must be allocated to school supplies, textbooks, exercise books, sports clothing, uniforms, glasses, hearing and orthopedic materials, as well as computer, electronic, or telecommunications access materials.
The list of beneficiaries is published on the City Council's notice board and on the municipal Transparency Portal.
Starting this week, beneficiaries will begin to receive the payment in the bank accounts indicated in the application. They will have three months to submit the invoices justifying the expenses.
