The mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, and the chief of the Local Police, Javier González, attended the ceremonial opening of the entry course into the Local Police forces of Andalusia, held at the Universidad Popular de San Roque.
The seven future officers from Manilva will complete their training by February 19. They will then begin their practical training in the municipality on February 22 and will officially take up their positions in July.
The mayor of Manilva expressed his support for the seven future officers so that their training will enhance the safety of our population, and insisted that he will fulfil his commitment to equip the force with 15 new officers and continue improving security.
The mayor, who is also responsible for Citizen Security, thus maintains the commitment to incorporate 15 new officers into the local force. The training of these seven initial officers takes place at the Universidad Popular de San Roque.
