The Town Hall of Manilva has fine-tuned this Tuesday the defibrillators municipal, devices that have recorded considerable use in recent times, especially by the Local Police. The Health councillor, Juan Carlos Morejón, has accompanied the technicians from the company Meduba during the review and inventory work.
The councillor explained that these periodic checks are necessary to ensure that the devices are in perfect condition for any emergency. The use they have had, especially in police interventions, makes it essential to verify their status regularly.
Morejón highlighted that these devices can be crucial for saving lives in cases of cardiac arrest, so their proper functioning is a priority for the council.
For his part, Javier Luque, from the Local Police of Manilva, emphasised the importance of having defibrillation equipment in the municipality. He recalled that these devices have already been used several times to assist people in emergency situations.
The work today has allowed for the assessment of the condition of the DESA equipment, updating their inventory and ensuring they remain operational and ready for use. With this action, the Town Hall of Manilva continues its maintenance and control work of devices whose availability can be key in a health emergency.
