The Manilva Town Hall held a coordination meeting to finalise the preparations for the new term of the Municipal School of Music, Dance and Theatre (EMMDAT), which will start soon with the aim of maintaining its training offer and its role as a cultural reference in the region.
The meeting was attended by the Mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez; the Councillor for Culture, Eva Galindo; Councillor Marcos Ruiz; the director of EMMDAT, Fernando Antiñolo; and the municipal secretary. During the session, the main lines of work for the upcoming academic period and various issues related to the management of the centre were discussed.
The EMMDAT offers training in various instrumental and vocal disciplines, as well as specialisations in dance and theatre, making it one of the main municipal spaces for learning and promoting the arts in Manilva.
The Town Hall emphasises the importance of continuing to promote such initiatives to bring artistic training closer to the public and provide students with an appropriate environment to develop their skills and foster their creativity.
