The Manilva Town Hall is reviewing a private proposal to build an underground car park with over 600 spaces under the Green Corridor, between the Port of La Duquesa and El Castillo. Municipal technicians are finalising the study to tender the concession in the coming weeks.

The councillor for Urban Planning in Manilva, Juan Carlos Morejón, has reported on the proposal received to construct an underground car park in the Green Corridor, the axis that connects the Port of La Duquesa with El Castillo. The project includes just over 600 parking spaces.

According to the councillor, this infrastructure would address the lack of parking in a part of the municipality with high demand. The municipal technical services are analysing the initiative, and the study will be ready in the coming weeks, a necessary step before putting the administrative concession out to tender.

Morejón has pointed out that the lack of parking, housing, and access to the La Dehesilla industrial estate are the issues that focus his management in Urban Planning. The councillor has explained that he is seeking solutions that do not deplete municipal funds, maintaining a balance between public and private interests.
