The Councillor for Festivals of the Fuengirola City Council, Isabel Moreno, presented the programme for the Guadebro Festival 2026 this Wednesday, which will take place on July 24, 25, and 26. The councillor described the event as one of the "most endearing" in the local festive calendar.
The festival, organised by the Guadebro neighbourhood with the collaboration of the City Council, will kick off on Friday, July 24, at 21:00 with the official opening and the election of the prince and princess. Following this, there will be children's dances and musical performances by Arianna Chica, Macarena, the Stars of Guadebro, and the group El Callejón.
On Saturday, July 25, the day will start with a community breakfast from 09:00 to 11:00. In the morning, there will be a large children's party with games, a foam cannon, and gifts for participants. Later that night, from 22:00, music will take centre stage again with performances by the Stars of Guadebro, the group Sueño Marismeño, and DJ Bergi, who will close the day.
On Sunday, July 26, the last day of the festival, activities will begin at 12:00 with children's games and contests for adults. At 14:30, a large community paella will be served, accompanied by a performance from the group Cenachero.
Isabel Moreno has invited residents and visitors to participate in this celebration. "I want to encourage all residents of Fuengirola and those visiting us during those days to take part in the Guadebro Festival. It is one of those events that reflect the essence of our neighbourhoods, where coexistence, tradition, and family atmosphere are the main highlights," the councillor stated.
The Guadebro Festival has established itself as an unmissable event of the Fuengirola summer, attracting hundreds of people each year who enjoy a festive and family-friendly atmosphere. The Guadebro neighbourhood, located in the western part of the city, will be adorned for the occasion with lights and decorations, turning its streets into a meeting point.
