The Plaza de Toros in Estepona will host a freestyle motocross show on Saturday, July 18, at 21:00, featuring riders such as Abraham Parra, champion of the Nations World Championship, and Finnish rider Sebastián Westberg.

Freestyle motocross (FMX) returns to the Costa del Sol. The Plaza de Toros in Estepona will be the venue on Saturday, July 18, starting at 21:00, for a show organised by VértiGO FMX that will bring together six top national and international riders. The Councillor for Culture and Festivals, Macarena Diánez, along with riders Abraham Parra and Kevin Sánchez, presented the event today, which promises jumps and stunts on motorcycles.

Among the participants is Abraham Parra, champion of the Nations World Championship (Night of the Jump) in Munich in 2024, as well as being third in the Spanish championship and second in the Spanish Cup 1. Also participating will be Finnish rider Sebastián Westberg, from Red Bull X-Fighters, and Frenchman Brice Izzo, who has two world championships (2010 and 2013) and a bronze medal at the X Games. Completing the lineup are young Nacho Crespo, just 16 years old, the breakout star Di Dio, and veteran Kevin Sánchez.

The show, suitable for the whole family, will include stunts such as backflips, supermans, and high-difficulty tricks. Attendees can purchase VIP tickets that allow access to training sessions and meet the riders. General tickets are already on sale at vertigofmx.com and can also be purchased at the box office on the day of the event.

This event further establishes Estepona as a destination for motor sports events, having previously hosted FMX exhibitions and motorcycle gatherings. The July event comes during the peak tourist season, which could attract national and international visitors. Organisers hope to fill the bullring, which has a capacity of around 8,000 people.

For motocross fans, this is a unique opportunity to see some of the best riders in the world in action without leaving the province of Málaga. Tickets range from 25 to 50 euros, depending on the area. The organisation recommends arriving early to avoid queues and enjoy the atmosphere before the show.
