The Antequera Town Hall, through the Youth Department, has presented the new edition of the 'DOCE – Healthy Leisure' programme for July, featuring free and paid activities such as a trip to Isla Mágica, sunset yoga, a Grand Prix, and English workshops.
The programme kicks off on Wednesday, 15th July with a family trip to Isla Mágica in Seville. Departure will be at 09:00 from the Youth Centre, returning after the fireworks. The activity, coordinated by Loaza Congresses and Events, costs 28 euros.
On Thursday, 16th July, from 21:00 to 22:30, Atalaya Park will host 'Yoga & Essences', a beginner yoga session at sunset with a natural essences workshop. It is free and for young people aged 14 to 30, taught by Yoga Lluna.
On Thursday, 23rd July, at the same place and time, the experience will be repeated with 'Mood Yoga & Journaling', which adds a personal reflection component. Also free and for the same age range.
On Friday, 24th July, the Antequera Bullring will be the venue for the Grand Prix, from 20:00 to 00:30. It is a family competition for those over 12, with eight teams competing in five challenges. Teams must include at least one adult. Registration is free and closes on 21st July at the Youth Centre. The activity is coordinated by Dimad Events.
From 21st to 28th July (on the 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, and 28th), the Youth Centre will host the 'Speaking & Listening' workshop, preparatory classes for the Cambridge B1 exam, from 12:00 to 13:30. It is free for young people aged 12 to 35, taught by Liberty School of English.
The Youth Councillor, Marta González, highlighted that the programme "combines leisure, healthy habits, coexistence, and training." She reminded that registration is mandatory for activities that require it and must be formalised at the Youth Centre.
