The Municipal Theatre Schools of Casares and Castellar de la Frontera start a cooperation line with joint activities and play exchanges.

The Town Hall of Casares and that of Castellar de la Frontera have agreed to launch a cooperation line between their municipal theatre schools. The aim is to promote joint activities that encourage exchange and coexistence among students from both municipalities.

The Councillor for Education of Casares, Andrés Morales, and the Theatre teacher, Edu Collado, have met with the heads of Culture and Social Welfare from the Town Hall of Castellar de la Frontera. During the meeting, the organization of coexistence days in both municipalities was proposed.

These activities will include meetings between students and the performance of theatrical works prepared by both schools. Progress has already been made in the programming of “Mujeres Recoveras, Dignidad y Coraje” in Castellar de la Frontera for March 2027, coinciding with the commemorative events of International Women's Day.

The initiative aims to strengthen collaboration between both municipalities and enrich the educational and cultural experience of the participants. For the students of Casares, it represents an opportunity to broaden their theatrical training and learn about another nearby theatrical reality.

The agreement is part of the Casares Town Council's commitment to culture as an educational tool and a means of social cohesion. The specific dates for the days and the rest of the activities will be announced soon.
