The Marbella port has established itself as the largest showcase of luxury cars in the country, with models like the Bugatti Chiron Hermès and the Ferrari 840 Testarossa cruising its streets.
Puerto Banús, in Marbella, has become this summer the largest concentration of super luxury cars in Spain, according to Diario Sur. The area, which is part of the golden triangle of the Costa del Sol along with Estepona and Benahavís, attracts owners of exclusive vehicles who turn their strolls into an informal competition to showcase the most expensive and spectacular models.
Among the vehicles spotted are three historic Rolls-Royce models: the Cullinan, the Phantom, and the Spectre, the latter recently updated with its Series II and priced close to half a million euros. Iconic Ferrari models have also been seen, such as the F40 and the new 840 Testarossa, unveiled a year ago and estimated to also be around half a million euros.
The Lamborghini Revuelto, in its striking orange version, and the futuristic Tesla Cybertruck, which is not sold in Spain and starts at 100,000 euros in the United States, complete the list of the most frequently seen. However, the most special model this summer is the Bugatti Chiron habillé par Hermès, a unique car valued at several million euros and owned by Sheikh Hamad bin Abdullah Al Thani, a member of the Qatari royal family and a regular summer visitor to the Costa del Sol.
This Chiron, created in collaboration with the French firm Hermès, stands out for its off-white paint and a red leather interior, a contrast that differentiates it from the first unit produced. The activity surrounding these vehicles has generated an ecosystem of specialized businesses, such as the dealership and workshop Cohen & Cars, and clubs like Marbella Executive Drive, which organizes an exclusive evening for its members each year, scheduled for August 29 at the Palacio Suites Marbella hotel.
Car enthusiasts can follow these sightings through Instagram accounts dedicated to the supercars of Puerto Banús, where images of the models that circulate daily in the area are shared.
